Day 1 – Piazzas & Fountains of Rome

The tour continues to Piazza Navona, a stunning Baroque square famous for its beautiful Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini. Pilgrims can reflect on the grandeur of the square while admiring the artistic beauty and the symbolism of the fountains. Next, the group will visit the iconic Trevi Fountain, one of the most famous fountains in the world. The tour will head to Piazza del Popolo, one of Rome’s largest and most important squares, where pilgrims can admire the twin churches of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and Santa Maria in Montesanto, as well as the Obelisk of Flaminio. Day 2 – Colossuem & The Papal Basilicas of Rome

Known for its stunning mosaics, the basilica is home to important relics of the Nativity of Jesus. Pilgrims can reflect on the role of the Virgin Mary in Christianity and contemplate the significance of the church’s sacred relics.

Day 3 – San Pietro & The Vatican Museums

Morning in San Pietro for The Papal Audience. The pilgrims will begin their day early and head to St. Peter’s Square for the Papal Audience. The group will be able to experience a truly moving moment as they participate in this special event, which is a tradition for pilgrims from around the world. The Gallery of Maps: This long hall features beautiful maps of Italy from the 16th century.

Day 4 – The Catacombs

Day 5 – Rome & Assisi

Full Day in Assisi to visit The Porziuncola in Santa Maria degli Angeli. Head to the Porziuncola, located within the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. This small chapel holds great significance for the Franciscan Order, as it was here that St. Francis received his calling. Spend time reflecting and praying, admiring the simplicity and beauty of the site. You may also wish to visit the nearby rose garden, where legend says that roses once bloomed miraculously. Travel towards the Basilica of St. Francis in the heart of Assisi. It is recommended to walk through the picturesque streets of the town for a truly spiritual and scenic experience. The Basilica of St. Francis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the spiritual home of St. Francis. The upper church features beautiful frescoes depicting the life of Christ, while the lower church holds the tomb of St. Francis. Pilgrims can meditate at the tomb, offering prayers and paying homage to the saint. Head to the Basilica of St. Clare, which houses the tomb of the saint and her famous “San Damiano Cross,” the one that spoke to St. Francis, urging him to “go and repair my house.” The basilica’s peaceful atmosphere provides pilgrims with the opportunity to reflect on the life of St. Clare, her devotion to simplicity, and her deep connection with St. Francis. Explore the Sacred Sites of Assisi After visiting the basilica, take time to walk through the charming streets of Assisi. You can visit other significant Franciscan sites, such as the Eremo delle Carceri (the hermitage where St. Francis and his followers retreated for prayer) or the Rocca Maggiore, which offers beautiful views of Assisi and the surrounding Umbrian countryside

Day 6 – Florence full day Tour

Full Day a Florence to visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo di Firenze) with its magnificent dome by Brunelleschi. Visit to the Basilica di San Lorenzo Pilgrims can pray and admire the architecture, including the Medici Chapels, the final resting place of the Medici dynasty. Visit to the Church of Santa Croce. The final resting place of many famous figures like Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. Pilgrims can spend time in reflection and prayer in this sacred space, which is also known for its beautiful frescoes by Giotto.

Day 7 – Full day Tour in Firenze

Visit to the Uffizi Gallery: A guided tour of the Uffizi, home to masterpieces of Renaissance art, including works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Raphael. Pilgrims will learn about the religious themes depicted in the art and have time for personal reflection. Or in alternative Visit to the Bargello Museum: A museum known for its collection of Renaissance sculptures, including works by Donatello and Michelangelo. The group can reflect on the Christian themes expressed through art and sculpture. Visit to the Church of San Miniato al Monte: Situated on a hilltop with stunning views of Florence, this church is a key pilgrimage site. Pilgrims can attend Mass or take part in a quiet prayer service, reflecting on the spiritual significance of the location. Day 8 – Pisa Tower & Miracles Square

Full Day in Pisa Visit to the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles): The group will start their day by visiting the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the most iconic places in Italy, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The square is home to some of the most important monuments of Pisa, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Baptistery, and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa

Day 9 – Trasfer from Hotel to the APT.
